Our surfing wetsuit hood is the easiest way to instantly add warmth to any wetsuit. No more painfully frozen face from all the duck dives during your paddle out. Put this hood on before zipping your wetsuit, and the collar will comfortably sit inside your wetsuit. The 3mm limestone-based neoprene with thermal lining keeps all that heat from escaping your head. The hood is effective against wind as well. (Apologies for the wave quality, though.) The GBS seams ensure that no wind or water can penetrate the hood.

You'll experience a perfect seal around your face with the hood's SmoothSkin border and bungee adjuster. It's also super comfortable to pull down around your neck if you get too hot after surfing for a while. Stevie likes to use the hood for those cold sunrise paddle outs, and then he'll pull it down once he's out in the lineup.

HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR WETSUIT HOOD: Rinse your hood inside and out after surfing. Lay it flat to dry, out of direct sunlight.

This separate hood can add warmth to any wetsuit. The hood collar goes under your wetsuit to prevent cold water intrusion, and the adjustable hood with SmoothSkin border keeps your body heat in and cold water out. You can pull the hood down if you get too hot, making it great for those cold paddle-outs, and then you can pull it back up for the rest of your session.

The GBS (Glue and Blind Stitching) seams on our hood, just like our wetsuits, provide ultimate warmth and durability. Flatlock stitching is much cheaper, but it creates more holes in the neoprene, allowing more cold water to enter.

The 3mm Superstretch Limestone-Based Neoprene with a soft Thermal Lining keeps your head warm in the coldest water and windiest conditions, the same neoprene we use in our wetsuits.

The comfortable seal around your face prevents cold water from entering during duck dives. The hood can be worn over or under your chin.

If you are between sizes, choose the larger hood size.

We use cardboard packaging to keep our oceans clean, even though it costs us more than plastic bags like other brands.
